The official release date I have from Ray is still December 10th. We will not be answering questions on Oni's Fury cards until then. You're allowed to ask questions in the meantime, of course, and I've been saving the ones I've seen so you don't need to ask them again next week.

Rules for Strategic L5R are in the Season of the Crane tournament kits. They will also be made available on our web site after the Season has run its course, both to give us a chance to correct any flaws that might be found and to reward organizers who've purchased a kit with a bit of exclusivity.
You mean the retailers aren't getting cards... Aren't getting Koku.... Aren't getting the ability to host a tournament....
You've lost me here. Why on earth would stores lose these because they're gaining the Strategic rules? We haven't removed anything from the kits to make room for them.
The reasoning on this is poor Jeff. We have always been aware of tournament rules *before* the tournament. Not making them public, especially with the complexities that this one seems to involve, is just short sighted and wrong.
It's like asking people not to post their Clan Letters publically until 30 days after Heralds start going out, so that people who've paid real money for the emcompassing product don't end up being among the last ones to receive it.

does this effect every personality in your deck and in play or just those in play?
Just those in play.
Why? Why would it not work the same as Yojiro exp2 or Ki-rin Shrine exp.? Similar wording. The card says nothing about "All of your other Personalities in play Permanently..."
Bingo. Yojiro (and, theoretically, the Shrine) do not affect Personalities not yet in play. I've been tightening up my scrutiny on those potential wording pitfalls ever since the Kitsu Tombs and At'Tok'Tuk Sensei in Ambition's Debt. Effects, even global ones, are normally restricted to cards in play. It takes explicit text to the contrary to make it elsewise.
The reason Yojiro yields extra honor anyway is that his bonus still manages to apply before the gain occurs, despite not applying to cards still in Provinces.
Season of the Crane Kits
I was wondering if it is legitimate to resell Season kits.
Alderac Entertainment Group does not have a formal stand on the issue. It is not a violation of any contractural agreements to resell one. They have their own SKU number and are a self- contained salable product.
That being said, the point of the Season kits *is* to increase product awareness by encouraging play, and if too many end up not being used for that, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect us to address the issue somehow. That "somehow" would not necessarily involve a policy change...it could just be "make more kits", for instance.
