I've got a brief respite between crises getting An Oni's Fury ready to ship to the printer, so I decided to take a break and do more work here. Not sure why I terribly need to, what with Vaughn and Zen around...that's the trouble with having such good assistants, I suppose. They make me feel so superfluous sometimes.

Quick Judgement of Toshiken question
The current wording on JoT:
"Judgement of Toshiken 0G 2FV Reaction: Play this card after players reveal Focus cards in a duel. Resolve the duel only by the Chi (or other stat noted on the card creating the duel) of the dueling Personalities before the challenge, plus the Focus cards' printed Focus values. The Double Chi trait works as usual. If either Personality has not focused, each can focus an extra time, starting with the challenged Personality."
This states that it uses printed Focus values for determining the >outcome of the duel. Does this count Buring Your Essence as a 6 or a 0?
Burning Your Essence 0G 0FV This card has a Focus value of 6 when focused in a duel, discarded for a Tactician force bonus, or used for its Focus value with an ability on a Personality. The Personality permanently has -2C after the duel or ability resolves."
As it makes no mention of changing its own "printed" stat, Burning Your Essence's printed Focus value stays a mere 0, adding nothing during a Toshiken-judged duel.
Questions for Jeff
If you do not have anyone to destroy, can you bring Tsuburu no Oni into play?
No. The destruction is worded as a cost. (Do you really think we'd let a first-turn 8 Force cavalry Personality into the Gold environment?)
If a personality has not attached cards, can Mujina Gang be attached? Or does the player have to discard the Mujina Gang?
He'd have to discard the Gang, as the discard happens after they enter play.
When A Plague Spreads resolves, is the active player only targeting a personality to his left or does it go around the table with each player allowed to target a personality of the player to their left?
As the card says: just the active player.

If I used the card Uncertainty on say, Kakita Toshimoko X, then cast Energy Transference on him, what would result? Would the E.T. PKill be stopped by the Uncertainty, or would that be transfered to the Force?
Uncertainty would stop the death. Uncertainty sets the Personality's minimum Chi to 1. Energy Transference is, by definition, a Chi reduction if the Personality has less Force than Chi when it's cast, so it would stop at 1 instead of going to 0.
A quick question:
What is the current reading of "Strike at the Tail"? Does it hit all followers in play, or just the followers of one unit?
The MRP does not limit it to one unit. It does, however, still limit it to opposing Followers only, not "all followers in play".
Geisha Assassin and Fortress
Just making sure I have the logic right here. Do dragonfly forts boost a geisha assassin? I think yes, but thought I would ask to be sure.
Yes, because she counts as a Personality while in play.
Ide Michisuna question
If Akasha I. Challenges Hida Kuon (PH1), who refuses and commits seppuku, and Ide Michisuna reacts, does the Crab player lose 2 honor or 8? In other words, since Michsuna "negates the re-honoring", is he also negating the ability to reduce the honor loss from 7 to 1?
2. Only the restoration to honor is negated. The reduction of the loss from 7 to 1 still happens.
