Unique and Experience

L5R CCG Rules board, 1 October 2012 to 2 October 2012

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Sorry, but I'm a little confused again. Here you state that "you can never control two Unique cards with the same title at the same time, regardless of their Experience levels" and that I understand but what about "Non-Unique, non-Experienced versions of a card do not affect the legality of including Unique Experienced or Inexperienced versions of it in a deck, or the legality of playing those Experienced versions" (from the experienced rule).

Does that mean that if I have two Shinjo Junpei in play I can bring a Shinjo Junpei exp into play?

The text you quote means exactly that.
