Bo Of Water + Ring Of Air

L5R CCG Rules board, 29 June 2012

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I have only one personality in play, which already has a weapon attached. I already resolved two spells with different titles (say Walking The Way, Delving Into History, for example). I attach Bo Of Water to this personality. Can I resolve Bo Of Water, despite it's effect won't attach any weapon, and then bring Ring Of Air into play ?

I'm almost certain I can, but maybe Good Faith Rule somehow prevents it.

You are correct in thinking that Good Faith prevents it.

From the CR: "If the action involves putting one or more cards into play as a non-optional effect, the player must be able to meet all costs and requirements to bring those cards into play legally, in order to meet the Good Faith rule. This includes having a Personality who can legally attach any attachments to be brought into play."
