Are the ring of flame and ring of fire considered different cards? Can I include them both in the same deck?
War of Honor Ring of flame and Ring of Fire
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Are the ring of flame and ring of fire considered different cards? Can I include them both in the same deck?
Yes, they are different cards, by virtue of them having different titles and neither the "Soul of" keyword, nor the "Experienced [Alternate title]" keyword which would make them equivalent for deck construction or being in play at the same time, respectively.
So, the follow-up answer is also "yes". But I should add at this point that this only applies to War of Honor and Legacy Formats, as Ring of Flame is not one of the EE-legal cards in War of Honor (noting its lack of EE legality bug).
