Goju Yurishi vs Power of Strength and Inexorable

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

So my opponent attacks with Hotako and I defend with 2 Yurishi. He plays power of strength targeting both the Yurishi. I react with both the Yurishi and move them both home. If he plays Inexorable can he still target the second Yurishi with the ranged attack?

We figured that if both reacted and moved home the power of the strength would be able to bow one of the Yurishi but because it targets both personalities in the constraints block when it gets to the effects and you have to declare the optional target of the ranged attack the personality isn't a legal target so you wouldn't be able to declare the ranged attack.

Your assertion is correct. You cannot target the Ranged Attack in the above scenario, as the Yurishi, being at home, is not a legal target at the time of targeting.
