spirit of the shadows

L5R CCG Rules board, 9 May 2012 to 10 May 2012

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

if i send home some one then negate their movement for the rest of the turn, what happens when i target their personalitly at the current battle field and their personalitly at home thats movement is negated? if this is confusing let me break it down

Current battlefield: 2 defenders 1 attacker attacker sends home defender A and negate his movement for the rest of the turn Defending player passes Attacker plays the battle action he obtained threw spirit of the shadows and targets defender A and Defender B at home. What happens sense defender a cannot move?

From the Glossary, Switch: To swap the game area two or more cards are in. This may involve movement if units are switched between two locations. If the area change of any one card is negated or fails, all other area changes from that switching also fail.
