A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

From the Legacy rules:
"Cards with Experienced X (Alternate Title) are considered to also have all alternate titles that the Alternate Title card has, for the purposes of deck construction, the Unique rule, and overlaying. Additionally, all higher Experience keyword levels of a card with an Experienced (Alternate Title) keyword are considered to have that alternate title. Example 1: Heigi's "Experienced 5 Akodo Ginawa" keyword is also considered to have the "Ginawa" alternate title, because Akodo Ginawa's Experienced 4 keyword does. Example 2: Shosuro's "Experienced 7" keyword is considered to have the Ninja Shapeshifter alternate title because her Experienced 1 version does."
Murderous Intent Battle/Open: Choose your performing Paragon: Give him +1F for each of his keywords except "Soul of" keywords. Lose 4 Honor.
The Direct Approach Open: Target a Personality: Give him -1F for each of his keywords other than Clan alignments. If his Force is now 0, he may not perform actions.
Do inherited alternate titles ... erm, count for the purposes of keyword counting? If I make Heigai a Paragon, does Murderous Intent grant him +8F (Paragon, from however he got it; Lion Clan, Monk, Tactician, Gozoku, Experienced 5 Akodo Ginawa, Unique, Shogun's Advisor) or +9F (all of that, plus Experienced Ginawa)?

No, an additional alternate title per the rule is not an additional "invisible keyword"; it is an inherent property of the base "Experienced (#) (Alternate Title)" keyword.
So, in your example, Heigai would gain +8F.
