so I was randomly reviewing battles and how provinces and locations work, and I became a little confused with the wording on province destruction during battles. Figured it was a good time to improve my understandings of the current rules.

4. The battle ends. This happens even if there was no resolution to the battle. At this time, if the province was destroyed, the battlefield ceases to exist. Then, if there are no battlefields remaining whose battle has not ended, all battlefields cease to exist. If a province is destroyed for any reason other than resolution during a battle or attack, its battlefield ceases to exist and any Terrain in play there is discarded. All units still there return home simultaneously. These units bow simultaneously if they were in an attacking army or if they were allied units.
So if the province was destroyed by anything other than a battle or attack, such as Akuma no Oni or Hida's Guidance (non-exp) then everybody goes home and battlefields that were at that province cease to exist. (pretty clear)
(MAIN QUESTION) But what if its destroyed by a battle or attack, but not the battle or attack at this field, Does it continues to exist? The current rules are worded awkwardly on this.
(and if it does, is it still considered associated with the province that no longer exists for purposes of open-recon actions and being adjacent to other fields)
For example, by mistake, I fudge some legacy card rulings get two retributions and/or desperate wager to occur inside each other so the 'create battlefields at each province' step of the retribution occurred twice in 1 attack phase before any of the fields resolve. As that is the only way I can foresee how this 1st rule about two battlefields at the same province could occur (not really the point) http://rules.l5r.com/EE_Areas_of_the_game#Battlefields_.28in_play.3B_communal.3B_temporary.29
If multiple battlefields are associated with a single province, they are treated as battlefields arranged in a line between the flanking provinces, if any. The leftmost is adjacent to the province on the left, the rightmost to the province on the right, and each of the multiple battlefields is adjacent to its neighbor(s) within that province.
I resolve the left one 1st and destroy the province via normal resolution. Does the right battlefield still exist because the province was NOT destroyed by something 'other than resolution'? (it seems like it should cease to exist and end with no resolution, but the wording says that only happens if its destroyed by effects other than battle resolution, rather than other than the current field's battle resolution.)
secondary question: it says 'resolution during a battle or attack' - what is the difference?
