I have two questions about this.

When I redirect do I have to choose a personality that the opponent has the gold to pay for? With Chugo Seido it says if legal so I would assume that the mantis player would need the gold unbowed.

Does the mantis play have to pay the costs after I redirect or may he now choose not to?
