If I use a Ninja personality without followers to Ambush another players personality, may I play Asset Denial to move to a province controlled by that player? I don't believe so, but I want to be sure. If I can, what happens next?
Ambush vs. Asset Denial
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

No.
Ambush only creates one battlefield, and it's not at a province: no provinces have battlefields unless an effect (usually, the Rulebook Effect during an Attack Phase's Declaration Segment) has created such battlefields.
Thus, the only "in play" locations during an Ambush's battle are home and the battlefield created by Ambush.
