surprise attack, adjacent battlefields

Must battlefields be at a province to be adjacent?

Lets say we have 4 battle fields, deffending 1 of them are 2 kensai, one with weapons, and attacking there are 2 Sea troll predators.

Lets say the sea troll takes 1st action and he uses 'surprise attack' to create a new battlefield and a troll + armed kensai there

Can the armed kensai use "never beyond my reach" from the surprise attack field? Similarly would the 2nd troll be able to move to the surprise attack field with his printed?

Similarly,

should the 1st field end, and the 2nd field come up, (in case the answer was 'yes' to the above question) can the sea troll preadator use his printed at the 2nd field for any reason? (assuming the other 3 battlefields that was not the one he came from were still unresolved)

Seat troll

Battle: Target a Personality opposing Predator at the current battlefield: Move the Personality and Predator to the same adjacent unresolved battlefield.

Never Beyond my reach.

Battle: Even if you control no units at the current battlefield, choose your performing unbowed Kensai, who may be at an adjacent battlefield to the current one if he has a Weapon attached: Range 6 Attack (against a target at the current battlefield).

Surprise attack

Battle: Choose one or more of your performing Nonhuman Personalities at the current battlefield and target one of the enemy leader's Personalities there or at home: Create a battlefield (not associated with any province). Move all the performers and targets there

Seat troll

Never Beyond my reach.

Surprise attack

A battlefield that is not at a province is not adjacent to anything.
