A player, 11 February 2012
kalani's landing:
Reaction: After an action is announced, target a card (in play): Give it -2 Gold Cost.
consideration:
Open: Choose your performing unbowed Tactician and another of your target Personalities: Give the Personality +3F. After the next time this turn another player's action targets him, negate its effects.
question: when I announce playing consideration on my personality can my opponent playing kalani's landing react with his box and have the effect negated for the purpose of stripping my personality of the "bubble" created by consideration?
sigh, I have no idea how to word that question better

umm that's a different question.
his question had him reacting to his own bow action and thus inserting the -2g before the bow action and having it negated. in this case the bubble was already there.
my question is regarding my opponent (playing kalani's) reacting to my announcement of the card called consideration. in essence, has the "bubble" been created already at the announcement step of me playing consideration and does kalani's landing "pop" it.
thanks

If Kalani's Landing is used in reaction to Consideration itself, the negation afforded by Consideration will not be active when Kalani's Landing's reaction resolves, and therefore Consideration will still negate the next action to target the Personality.'
Under the steps for playing an action, Kalani's Landing is announced and fully resolves in step A, whereas Consideration doesn't resolve until step E.
