A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I have two questions about Legacy.
1) In reference to this: --- Reactions Another unnecessary rules complication was the rule that a reaction may only react once per trigger. In fact, in all of Celestial Edition it only ever affected one thing, the Seppuku ability, as all other reactions were once per turn by default. Due to its now outdated nature, we are removing it. --- Despite its removal in the Emperor format, is this rule still in effect for Legacy? I hope so because I can already see several problematic interactions otherwise. For example with Nunchaku or Shiryo no Hoturi, a single duel could grant you an infinite number of actions or a crazy amount of honor.
2) Some Kolat/Emperor Edition cards speak about a "performing Ancestor" (A Time for Mortal Men, Ancestral Protection, etc.). In Legacy, do they refer to Ancestor Personalities, to the Ancestor card type, or both?

1) Yes, the once-per-trigger Reaction Rule will still be in effect in Legacy for cards printed prior to Before the Dawn, if I ever get around to updating the Legacy Rules to account for the EE changes. I've been a bit busy, however, updating each and every card ever printed to EE wording instead, for the Oracle of the Void.
2) If it doesn't specify "Ancestor Personality", then it can be either.
