Do granted abilities, for example from the various "Spirit of [x]" cards, count as abilities on the targeted card? Eg, can those abilities be used to put the Ring of Water into play or trigger similar effects that require the ability to be on the card? If yes, do these abilities also count as base abilities?
Granted abilities, two part question

Granted abilities are on the card to which they have been granted and come from that card, but are not base abilities of the card.
