Stone of Remembrance

L5R CCG Rules board, 16 October 2011

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

A player, 16 October 2011

Can Stone of Remembrance negate the destruction of one of my cards from another player's action if that action targeted more than one card.

For example, if Burn the Village targeted 2 of my personalities, could I use Stone to negate the destruction of one of those personalities?

Would the Stone be able negate the destruction of both of the personalities from Burn the Village?

Since it does not say "targets exactly one of your cards", the reaction can be used on the targeting of any one of a group of multiple targets. It would in this case only negate the destruction of the single card to whose targeting you were reacting.
