Can dead personality die?

L5R CCG Rules board, 1 September 2011

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

if I use "Honor Never Falls" to save a personalty from death, then it gets killed by another action and I use "Will" to bring him back, will he still die at the end of my turn?

Title Honor Never Falls Text Unique As a Focus Effect: Delay all consequences of losing this duel (from any source) until the end of the turn. Battle: Choose your performing bowed Personality: Straighten him. If he is Unique you may take an additional Battle action to use one of his base abilities.

Title Will Text Dark Virtue Battle: If you control an opposed unit at the current battlefield, target your dead Samurai Personality: Bring him into play there, paying 2 less Gold and ignoring Honor Requirements.
