Hi i have a few questions:
1)if my opponent uses a reaction that targets my personality at engaging with a nasty action(detained) can i react with Muscle and Steel? Chagatais Armor? In the same situation with Hida Kuon exp6, would kuon's trait negate the reactions effects?
2)if Killing feilds is in play(by an opponent), and i pass for the first time, may i save my personality with Muscle and steel? Chagatais armor? I assume strength of the bamboo works. I assume if Hida kuon exp6 was the only one and had not been targeted that Kuons trait doesn't work.
3)If my opponent plays Rocky terrain, and i have attacking personalities at the battle field that he chooses to bow, can i react with Muscle and steel? chagatai's armor? setting sun strike? In the same situation with Hida Kuon exp6, would kuon's trait negate the terrains effects? What if it was Heart of darkness instead?

Muscle and Steel and Chagatai's Armor: yes, per card text. Hida Kuon XP6: yes, assuming he is the only Personality in his army.

Assuming you speak of The Killing Grounds (mod reminder: please use complete and correct card titles when asking questions), you cannot play Muscle and Steel because your Personality has not just been targeted (see Targeting) and anyway the effect comes from a trait, not an action; for the same reason, you cannot play Strength of the Bamboo and the trait on Hida Kuon XP6 does not trigger. At last you cannot use Chagatai's Armor because no action is about to resolve.

As said above, such effects from recent Terrain Strategies like The Killing Grounds or Rocky Terrain come from their trait (see Traits), not their action. As a consequence, reactions to the targeting from an action (Muscle and Steel, Setting Sun Strike) or to the resolution of an action (Chagatai's Armor) cannot be taken and the trait on Hida Kuon XP6 does not trigger.
