Cavalry for Hire say: Reaction: After an action targets a card in this unit: Negates this card's destruction from the action's effects.
Now lets someone is trying to destroy the personalty in Cavalry for Hire's unit, can he stop it? I ask cause it says "this" in the second part.
open shore market say: Battle/Open: Bow this card: Attach a target attachment from your hand to your target Personality.
cards that are worded like this, you don't have to pay for the attachment right or do you have to pay?
Mod edit: Thread title. Please make them as specific as possible to help people searching for answers. Thanks! -ZF

Not with the first reaction on Cavalry for Hire. http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Special_wording ... References: "(R)eferences to 'this card'... refer to the card itself."
