do i need presence to react with cowed by wisdom to prevent an opponent from moving his units home from a battlefield? situation at hand is a scorpion opponent assigning two ninjas to a battlefield for the sole purpose of playing "black hearts, red blades". searched the forum, but couldn't find the answer. thanks.

Ahhhh, we don't need to go any further.
The rule only applies to Battle actions. Reactions are not Battle actions. Reactions never require presence.
