Ring of the Phoenix

L5R CCG Rules board, 19 May 2011

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hi

Couldn't see this anywhere so thought I'd ask with War of Honor increasing interest in Legacy cards. With the change in card templating in Celestial making the Rings unique, as far as I can find there's no mention of this being retroactively applying to all previous rings. Is the Ring of the Phoenix now a non-unique ring due to this change - I checked the comprehensive rules and there is no mention in the card type section on rings that they should be considered unique. This question would also apply to the Dark Rings as non of them have the unique keyword printed on their either

Thanks

Steve
