A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I saw a question about Shamate Keep, and so assume Before the Dawn questions can be asked. So here we go:
1) Is seppuku Performed?
If yes, then can we update the rule's wiki to take that into account?
Reaction: Any number of times per turn, before you lose Honor from an action that targeted or was performed by one of your Courtier or Samurai Personalities: He commits seppuku. If the seppuku destroyed him, reduce the Honor loss to one. In the above ability, the Courtier or Samurai does not perform the seppuku, by the rules on performing.
If No, then how does The Price of Honor work?
The Price of Honor Card Text: Political Limited: Choose your performing Courtier and target another player's dishonorable Personality: He is asked to make a sacrifice. The player may show you his hand. If he does, you may discard a card from it. If he does not choose this, the Personality may not perform the rulebook seppuku action.

Techical errata has been issued to The Price of Honor: Limited: Choose your performing Courtier and target another player’s dishonorable Personality: He is asked to make a sacrifice. The player may show you his hand. If he does, you may discard a card from it. If he does not choose this, his Personality will not be affected by the rulebook seppuku action.
