If a dishonored Kakita Hideo (Experienced) uses Impromptu Duel and wins, will the honor gain from his trait occur first or the honor gain from winning the duel occur first. I'm just curious which honor gain will be negated in order to rehonor Hideo XP.

The first Honor gain that rehonors Hideo comes from his trait. Per duels, Hideo's trait triggers during step "H: Determine outcome" (this is the point at which a Personality “wins” or “loses” a duel) whereas the gain from Impromptu Duel happens during step "I: Consequences of duel".
