These are dumb questions, I'm sure, but our playgroup can't come to a consensus:
With Chagatai's Armor, when you use the battle action to straighten the unit, does the armor end up straight or bowed at the end of the action?
With Rejuvenating Vapors, if I use the battle action targeting the shugenja who has the spell equipped, does he get +3 force? (IE: is he bowed when the spell checks to see if he is unbowed?)

Unbowed. When an action is taken, its mandatory costs are paid before it resolves, so Chagatai's Armor bows as a cost of its own Battle action, then each card in its unit straightens, including itself.
With Rejuvenating Vapors, if I use the battle action targeting the shugenja who has the spell equipped, does he get +3 force?
No, for the same reason: the cost of bowing this Shugenja is paid before the action resolves, so the Shugenja is already bowed when the Force bonus checks whether he is unbowed, and he does not receive it.
