Does Gutobos recon open work if i use wedge on some one?

Does Gutobos recon open work if i use wedge on some one?
No.
Gutobo's Recon Open only returns to play Goblins destroyed "during a Combat Segment" (card text).
Wedge destroys its target "after the battle ends", which is after the Combat Segment has already ended.
