Am i right on assuming you still have to have a personality at the current battlefield to use her battle action? cause unlike other cards that say 'even if you don't any body at the current battlefield' cards like this say evevn if [Card name] is not at the current battlefield.

Yes. Her exception applies to the Rule of Location, but not the Rule of Presence.
