In reguards to the card Out of Nowhere,
Ninja Battle: Choose your performing face-up Ninja Personality in your province and you may choose another such performing Ninja if there are units on the enemy side at the current battlefield: Your Ninja emerge from the shadows. Bring them into play at the current battlefield.
Can this action be performed without presence?
No. To bring a Personality into play, at a battlefield where you do not control any units, does not fulfill the requirements of the Rule of Presence.
