Example 1 Player A plays Sneak Attack, then Obfuscation, then attaches a weapon, then takes its Battle action as an additional one. Can player B react with Reinforce the Gates to the weapon's Battle action and prevent its effects from happening?
Example 2 Player B plays Sneak Attack, then takes Tamori Wotan's Battle action, then takes Cold Hands, Stone Heart Battle action as an additional one, then takes One with the Flame Battle action as the second addional one. Can Player B react with Reinforce the Gates to One with the Flame?
Reinforce the Gates Reaction: After a player announces a Battle action before the Defender's first normal opportunity to act or pass: Its effects do not happen.
Obfuscation Battle: Attach a target attachment from your hand or discard pile to your target Personality. You may take an additional action to use one of the attachment's base Battle abilities.
Tamori Wotan Dragon Clan • Shugenja Battle: If Wotan is opposed: Look at the top 4 cards of your Fate deck. You may switch one with a card from your hand. You may take an additional Battle action
One with the Flame Fire • Kiho Battle: Bow your target Monk without Weapons: Give him +1C if he is Fire or has one or more Fire tokens. You may target and destroy an enemy Personality with equal or lower Chi than your Monk
Cold Hands, Stone Heart Kiho Battle: Choose your performing Monk with no Weapons: Remove an ability from a target enemy Personality with equal or lower Chi. Give your Monk +2F. Draw a card. You may take an additional Battle action
