An event resolved in a province containing Temple of Tsukune. Does the event "enter play" so that the reaction on the region can be taken? Thank you
[Mod edit: Card name fixed. -ZF]
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

OH NOES A TYPO, I CANT ANSWER RULES QUESTIONS
It's not the first time, either a certain member of the rules team is so out of touch with current commonly played cards that a single missing letter means he's incapable of finding a card, or he's being a jerk simply for the sake of it. Neither one of those are particularly appropriate for a rules team member.

Thanks for your assistance in providing the card name.
Suspecting a typo, I also went to L5R Search, and looked for cards beginning, "temple to t": http://l5rsearch.com/db/search.cgi?titl ... e%20to%20t
I didn't think "Temple to Te'tik'kir" was the card in question.
L5R has had a lot of cards with "Temple" in the title over its 15 year history. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I did look.

Maybe yes, maybe no.
http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Card_types#Events: "They do not normally enter play. ... If an Event enters play somehow, it enters play in your home."
Following this: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=86171&p=1138045
So unless the event says that it enters play in some place the event only resolves and thus does not trigger Temple of Tsukune, right?
So for example for this events the reaction from Temple of Tsukune will NOT trigger: A New Year, Imperial Census
But for this events it WILL: The Price of Power, The Death of Ryoshun
Right? If not can you provide any example of an Event that will trigger the reaction of Temple of Tsukune?
Thanks,
Javier

Yes, it will trigger.

based on the last discussion. assuming it's my events phase and I reacted the region with an event that enters play, a celestial, or itself -
will an event revealed face-up during that time resolve?
my playgroup said it was too late for the event to resolve as the time to check has already passed. i just needed to see a ruling/citation to this. Thanks

http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Card_types#Events: "An Event only resolves during the Events Phase."
http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Sequence_of_play#Events_Phase: "F. a. If the province contains a different face-up card than the one dealt with in the previous steps B through E (for example, if the previous card was discarded and the province refilled face-up), return to step B and follow steps B through F for the new card."
Still the Events Phase. Events can still resolve unless you've moved on to the next Province somehow.
