A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hello, I've found this thread on the forum. There's no doubt for me that both actions are legal to be taken, but my question is: do they fulfill the condition of putting Ring of the Void into play in the situation described? To my understading, not having prevented anything nor changed the game state in any other way they cannot be successful, because
The Glossary: A successful action or other occurrence is one whose effects produced one or more actual changes in the game state.
Ring of the Void: After you successfully resolve your fourth or later non-Kiho action from Strategies in one phase: You may put this card into play from your hand.
Am I right?

Ring of the Void has been MRP'd to remove the word "successful": After you resolve your fourth or later non-Kiho action from Strategies in one phase: You may put this card into play from your hand.
