Hello I was wondering how only actions speak interacts with Selfless politics.
Selfless Politcs reads: Political Open: Target a Personality. After the next time he assigns to attack you this turn, gain 2 Honor and dishonor him.
I know that my opponent would have to play AOS when I announce the action, but I was confused as to when Selfless Politics is considered resolved. Is it in the open phase or the battle phase. Essentially would the honor gain be negated for the rest of the action phase or in the battle phase if that person did assign to battle.

Poorly, because Only Actions Speak will not negate the Honor gain if the targeted Personality assigns to attack the player of Selfless Politics.
I was confused as to when Selfless Politics is considered resolved.
E. Action ends: "An action ends after its last effect is applied, if that effect is not a delayed effect. If an action's last effect is delayed, then the action ends instead after that effect is activated. The trigger “after action resolution” is the same point in time as “after the action ends.” The difference is that the action ends, but does not have a resolution, if the costs or effects of an action announced in good faith are interfered with."
The one and last effect of Selfless Politics is delayed (see Delayed effects), so this action ends when that effect is activated: during the Action Phase.
Essentially would the honor gain be negated for the rest of the action phase or in the battle phase if that person did assign to battle.
If the Honor gain is triggered, it always happens some time after Selfless Politics has resolved so the last effect of Only Actions Speak never triggers.
