If Daigotsu-Exp3 targets a personality with Seven Waves Mercenaries then transfers Seven Waves Mercenaries to himself, what happens to Seven Waves Mercenaries at the end of the battle? Does it remain in play, or is it destroyed along with the targeted personality?

Battle: Permanently give a target enemy personality with lower Chi Shadowlands. He succumbs to the Dark Lord's will. Take control of him (if you do so, he joins your army). If you now control him, destroy him after this battle ends.
Personality is destroyed. Any cards that are equipped to personality at the time of his destruction are also destroyed.
If you transferred an attachment off of the personality before the personality is destroyed, said attachment is not destroyed.
