I was at a tournament at the weekend and it was relayed to me so I didn't see it directly and thus probably should not comment that Uzaki no Onis ability was being used in such a way as to create movement from a location to a battle at which Uzaki was not present.
If this is correct however his playability just increased somewhat
Scenario
An attack is declared and the Attacker assigns generic nonhuman(x) to Battlefield C, and Uzaki no Oni to Battlefield B. If the attacker chooses to resolve battlefield A first he cannot move generic nonhuman(x) to Battlefield A using the ability on Uzaki no Oni. Correct? He could however use the ability to move him to Battlefield B when that Battle is being resolved and indeed from any location?
Thanks in advance

Correct, due to the second part of the Rule of Location (http://rules.l5r.com/CE_Battles#Rule_of_Location): "If a Battle action is on a card in a unit (a Personality or attachment in play)" -- which is the case with Uzaki no Oni -- "the unit must be at the current battlefield in order to take that action" (emphasis added).

Yes.
