A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

My opponent plays The Last One on one of his personalities. I then play Enticement on that personality to take control of him. Can I use an action to destroy him? (In other words, does The Last One look at current controller to determine "Your" or the player that used the action?)
The Last One: Open: Target your Personality: Destroy all of your other Personalities. If this destroyed at least four Personalities, permanently give your targeted Personality +4F, and until the end of the game, negate effects of other player's actions that bow, dishonor, move, or destroy him.
Thanks,

If your action destroys him as a cost (e.g. Expendable Resources), or as an effect that will not be negated (e.g. seppuku), he will be destroyed, otherwise The Last One will negate the destruction effect because it comes from another player's action. In the text of The Last One, "other players" is to be read from the perspective of the player who took this Strategy's Open action, not from the perspective of its performing Personality's controller.
