As far as I know, chi death does not come from action's effects, but from lack of chi. With this new rule change, I am seeing threads saying that Strength of the Bamboo and The Last One negate chi death, but these cards only say that they negate the personality's destruction from action's effects. Can I please get a clarification on this so that I can either stop being confused or quit L5R because the rules don't follow their own rules?
*EDIT because I can't post a reply* Time to quit. Chi death is supposed to be from a constant check on chi every single moment. From what I can tell, you're saying The Last One can walk around with 0 chi. Please tell me I'm wrong.

There are two possible sources of destruction from having 0C.
