With Celestial Edition, new wordings have been applied to some cards. In this case, Insight. If a Ring shows up in the 3 cards, do I get to play it or not? I do not know if this still applies, so I asked for clarification.

No, you can no longer play Rings via Insight, due to its Most Recent Printing (or "MRP").

Cardinal Rule #2:
"Cards vs. cards: New versions of cards with a given title may sometimes be printed, and L5R is printed in several languages. If different printings contradict each other, follow the most recent English-language printing of the card."
