If Daigotsu (Experienced 3) takes control of a personality with followers or any other attachments with abilities on them, does Daigotsu's controller now have the ability to use the abilities that are on those followers and attachments? In other words, does he control those followers or attachments as well?

Yes, Daigotsu's controller controls all attachments in the unit of the Personality who succombed to the Dark Lord's will, and can use their abilities. However remember that abilities can be used once per turn by default, no matter who controls the card where the ability is written.
