Game of Sincerity clarification

L5R CCG Rules board, 10 September 2009

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hi all,

I have only one personality in a battle. He's targeted by Game of Sincerity. In resolution, I have an army even if my personality doesn't contribute Force. I'm right?

And if the opponent have one personality too (or have others but bowed by exemple). His personality and mine always targeted by Game of Sincerity. The two armies are destroyed in resolution due to a tie? Even if the forces are equal to 0?

I found the following links in the rules section about this but I want to be sure that I don't forgot any rule.

Thanks in advance.

Game of Sincerity Battle: Dishonor your target unbowed Personality: Dishonor a target Personality. His controller loses 2 Honor. Neither Personality contributes Force in this battle's resolution.

Army One or more units in a given side at a battlefield. A side with no units is not an army and has no Force total.

Resolution Segment If both armies have the same total Force and both armies contain one or more units, the battle is a tie.

Total Force An army's total Force is the sum of the modified Force of all unbowed Personalities and Followers in the army.

Yes, to all the questions quoted above.
