Playing a phoenix deck we were in a question:
I have Isawa Kyoko (Air) + Isawa Ochiai (Fire) + Isawa Naki(Void, Water) + Isawa Naki (Void, Earth) + Isawa Naki (Void) and I bow them for playing the spell.
Can I cast The End is Near? I supposse that you only have to have 5 personalities with a trait the other doesn't so each one gives the elemental trait in Bold. Or can't I because Isawa Naki has the Void trait that Isawa Naki has?
The End is Near (R) Coste: 15; Focus: 4. Unique. The costs of this spell and its ability cannot be reduced, substituted, or waived. Limited: Bow this Shugenja and four other of your target Shugenja, such that each of the five has an element keyword that the others do not, and destroy this Spell: Destroy all Personalities in play

In this example, the last Isawa Naki has no "element keyword that the others do not", since all three Nakis have Void.
In general, each of the five must have exactly one element keyword.

With regards to http://www.alderac.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=74742#p978556
If you used the 3rd Naki w/ Void's Open ability to give him either Fire or Air in the example that was given of
"I have Isawa Kyoko (Air) + Isawa Ochiai (Fire) + Isawa Naki(Void, Water) + Isawa Naki (Void, Earth) + Isawa Naki (Void) and I bow them for playing the spell."
Could you then cast the Spell since he has Fire(which neither other Naki has) and Void(Which Ochiai doesn't have)?

No, I'm sorry, that doesn't work either.
Each Shugenja performing the Spell must have an element keyword that NONE of the others have.
You need 5 Shugenja, each one with a different one of each of the 5 element keywords, and they can have no other element keywords besides that one.

Continuing the question here..."The End is Near" reads
"Limited: Bow this Shugenja and four other of your target Shugenja, such that each of the five has an element keyword that the others do not, and destroy this Spell: Destroy all Personalities in play"
The part in Question I emphasized. The way this reads doesn't seem to read that each Element has to be on each Personality, but that each Personality has to have -an- element the others do not. If you were to give the Naki Fire or Air, and then put them all next to him...would he not have an Elemental Keyword the others do not since it is not looking for any specific Keyword, but just making sure he at least has one that doesn't match the others?
Sorry to bug ya, just curious because the way the card reads is just annoying, so figured clarity is good!

If you give 3rd Naki "Fire", then Ochiai herself fails to meet the requirement.
I'm sorry you find it difficult to parse, but trust my assessment in the last post: 5 Shugenja, only one element keyword each, with each one different.
