Question on Venerable Plains of the Ikoma:
Battle: Discard a card and target your unbowed Personality: Bow the unit of a target enemy Personality with lower Personal Honor. Gain 2 Honor if you discarded a Bushido Virtue.
Does the lion player need to have a target to preform this action? Or can the action be taken just to gain 2 honour?
Thank you.

The "target enemy Personality with lower Personal Honor" is a Required Target: An action’s required targets consist of anything that is targeted by the player taking the action in the action's constraints or effects.
