Hi,
The costs of an action have to be payed in the order they are writte on the card, right? But when is the gold cost of an action card payed, before or after the costs written on the card?
If I pay the gold cost of a kiho with a temple, does that mean that I can cast it with a bowed Miyoko or that I can straighten her afterwards?
Thanks

http://rules.l5r.com/Costs_and_restrict ... g_of_costs: "Gold costs indicated by a Fate card's gold coin icon are paid before any costs indicated by the card's text."

Whether you could cast it with here while bowed would depend on the specific text of the kiho, so that has no general answer.
Straightening may be feasible, unless she was bowed to pay a cost of the action card in question -- which would work, because the gold cost payment must come first, before she could use her ability.
