A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. This discussion happened a while ago, and came up today. I play Insight (looking the top 3 of my deck), and another copy of insight comes from it, and I play it. My question is: will I put aside the two other cards from the first insight, and look at another 3, or will I look at only another card only, and will look at the same two other cards I saw on the first insight, considering Insight says "Look at the top 3 cards", and in theory they never leave the deck.
Insight Dark Virtue Battle: Target one of your Samurai: Look at the top 3 cards of any Fate deck. If any are Action cards or Rings, you may play one of them for an additional Battle Action on it. You may rearrange the order of the remaining cards you looked at.

Playing a second Insight from a first will indeed only let you look at 1 more card. It's not just theory that those other 2 cards don't leave the deck (emphasis mine below):
http://rules.l5r.com/Glossary_L#Look: "Look: Inspect a face-down card without showing it to anyone else or changing its position (such as in a deck)."
