I was playing a shadowlands player who used I-m'jek to give Chutoburo naval. He attacked, I defended, he used the Naval reaction to take the first action, he used Surprise Attack to single out one of my personalities, and they both went to a new battlefield. That new battlefield started after the other one was over, and he used the Naval reaction again destroying my personality with Chutoburo's action. Can he do this?
Surprise attack and naval

Yes he can. Chutoburo is a Naval Nonhuman Personality so he can perform the Naval Reaction, Surprise Attack and the action from his own ability.
