If I play Superior Strategist, the next action that I take (as an additional action off Superior Strategist) could be negated by a reaction that negates an additional action (such as Ide Towako).
Can Determination change any of this?
Is there a time during the resolution of Superior Strategist that I could react with a Determination?
AND
Does Determination's protection from negation, and additional effects, extend to an additional action taken from the Determination'd action (i.e.: a kill effect played off of a Determination'd Superior Strategist)?

Can Determination change any of this?
Yes. Ide Towako and Swift Counterattack both "Negate the action's effects." Determination negates this negation.

No. Determination is played "Before you announce an action." The effects of Superior Strategist are the card search and the granting of an additional action, neither of which is affected by Ide Towako or Swift Counterattack. The additional action is announced, targeted, paid for and resolved after the end of Superior Strategist's resolution: to prevent the negation of the additional action's effects you need to play Determination (immediately) before you announce the additional action.
Does Determination's protection from negation, and additional effects, extend to an additional action taken from the Determination'd action (i.e.: a kill effect played off of a Determination'd Superior Strategist)?
No - but, as described above, you can get result you want by playing Determination as a reaction to announcing the additional action.
