Can I bow Consecrating the Temple to straighten a holding that bowed to pay for a resurrected Houhou? Or to straighten a holding that payed for a Reverence for Chikushudo? What about if I bowed a holding to pay for Seeking the Way, Attacked with it, and used it's ability?
Relevent text: Consecrating the Temple Limited: Bow this Spell: Straighten a target Holding that bowed this turn to pay a cost of an action whose effects produced an Honor gain.
Houhou Limited: If Houhou is honorably dead: She rises from the ashes. Bring her into play, paying 4 less Gold. Gain 3 Honor.
Reverence for Chikushudo Limited: Target one of your Shugenja. Search your Fate deck for a non-Unique Spell with an ability that has one of his Element keywords. Show it and attach it to him (paying all costs). Gain 2 Honor if this attached a Spell.
Seeking the Way Air Battle: Bow and move home this Shugenja: Move home a target attacking unit at this battlefield. Gain 2 Honor.

No. The cost of Houhou is not the cost of the action, it is the cost of the Personality.

In regards to this previous question about Consecrating the Temple ... http://www.alderac.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=66079
The answer given makes sense for HouHou, but doesn't address the other questions. Would Consecrating the Temples be able to unbow a holding that payed for, for example, Reverence for Chickushudo? What about a holding that bowed to pay the cost of attaching a Sparrow Clan Aide or Utaku Saber?
The key issue here, at least as I see it, is this: Does bowing to pay the gold cost of an honor-producing action count as "bowing to pay the cost of an action" for Consecrating the Temple? Or will Consecrating the Temple only be able to straighten a holding that bowed to directly pay the cost, such as Temple to Shinsei, Kabuki Theater Troupe, or Governor's Court?

I believe the answer is very clear.
You must be paying the cost of an Action (not a Personality, Follower, Item, or Spell being brought into play by an Action) that's effects include gaining honor.
Sparrow Clan Aide and Utaku Saber generate honor-gaining effects from their Traits. An Action that attaches such a card as an effect is not "an action whose effects produced an Honor gain."
The Limited Action on Reverence for Chikushudo certainly does quality as "an action whose effects produced an Honor gain," and has a 2 Gold Cost. Shinjo's Courage (when it destroys the target) or Kabuki Theater Troop also give examples of "an action whose effects produced an Honor gain." When a Kabuki Theater Troop bows to pay the cost of its Limited Action or a holding bows to pay the 2 Gold Cost of Shinjo's Courage (that destroys the target to produce the honor gain) then you have something that Consecrating the Temple can affect.
