The Hall of Ancestors and Determination
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Could you be more specific as to why you think it might have? A little context would help.
In the referanced post, it was said:
As currently worded (i.e., not Samurai), using Determination on a destruction effect will not remove a Personality owned by Hall of Ancestors from the game, for several reasons.
I didn't know if it meant as the card was currently worded, or the rules at the time (not samurai)
