Shiba Aikune (Exp 3) x Temple of Death

A player, 29 January 2008

Shiba Aikune (Experienced 3) Phoenix Clan • Samurai • Hero • Experienced 3 • Unique While Aikune is home or the only Personality in an army, he has +3F and other players' card effects cannot bow or move him. Battle: Any number of times per turn, destroy a Personality in Aikune's army: Destroy two target cards opposing Aikune with no attachments.

The Temple of Death Battle: Remove a Personality in any discard pile from the game: Bow a target Personality. Open: Remove a Personality in any discard pile from the game: Straighten a target Personality.

I have read the new rules for Stronghold, for it is a card, but it is not treated as a card for some effects that do not specify "strongholds", so I got confused. My question is: being Aikune the only personality in the enemy army, can I bow him with Temple of Death's Battle action?

Thanks

(If Shiba Aikune (Experienced 3) is) the only personality in the enemy army, can I bow him with Temple of Death's Battle action?

No.

http://rules.l5r.com/Card_types#Stronghold: "Example 2: A Reaction trigger states 'After an effect from another player's card targets one of your cards:' This can be used in reaction to another player's Stronghold effect because the Stronghold's effects come from a card."
