Glory of the Shogun and reduced costs

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Hi !

Glory of the Shogun has resolved and I would like to attach a Ceremonial Armor on a personnality costing 9G.

The Armor costs 3G when attaching to such a personnality.

I would like to know if I still may draw a card due to the effect of Glory of the Shogun if I attached an item which actually costs 7G but which I paid 3G.

Thank you for your answer.

Glory of the Shogun looks for the cost at the time of payment. No.

Correction: Been brought to my attention that there is a difference between "Gold cost" and "Gold Cost", which changes the answer. See viewtopic.php?f=59&t=66224.
