Why not?
If the quoted text is correct (I don't have cards with me; l5rsearch at least gives the same text), the Personality supposed to get the bonus can be any Personality; since we're talking about a Reaction, it can be anywhere, so I'd say the player can target any of his Personalities, or even an opponent's Personality.
So, unless the Personality about to be destroyed is the only Personality in play, I'd expect a "yes" answer.
