In previous rulings it has been determined that when one has a Battle action available on a defending unit targeted by Doomed Intentions, that unit must use a printed Battle action.
Yogo Rieko's action has a cost (2 gold). When one targets Yogo Rieko with Doomed Intentions as the defender, is the playing of such an action mandatory, and if it is mandatory is the action considered used for the turn if you cannot or will not pay the cost?
